Unnati

Empowering Women, Enabling Progress

Unnati, which means ‘progress’ in Hindi, is a transformative women’s empowerment programme dedicated to helping women break free from the shackles that bind them. We believe in empowering women to reclaim their true potential and become the individuals they were meant to be.

Our comprehensive programme equips women with the necessary skills and resources to achieve financial independence, assertiveness, and personal growth. We provide them with the tools to pursue education, if desired, participate in sports, or simply build confidence and self-esteem to stand up for themselves.

At Na Sa, we recognize that every woman deserves the opportunity to thrive and fulfill her aspirations. Through tailored support and mentorship, we guide women on their journey towards personal and professional success. Our programme fosters a supportive environment where women can learn, grow, and overcome barriers that hinder their progress.

By empowering women, we create a ripple effect that positively impacts families, communities, and society as a whole. Unnati is committed to driving sustainable change and uplifting women, enabling them to embrace their power, achieve their dreams, and contribute to a more equitable world.

Join us in the journey of empowerment and progress. Together, we can unlock the full potential of women and create a brighter future for all.

PROJECT SIVANA – Uttarkhand July- September 2021

NaSa has sponsored a project run by Diva D  and Sur Rehbar Foundation running a training centre in Dehradun, India with a group of 35 ladies who had shown a keen interest to become self reliant financially.

These women were chosen from underprivileged backgrounds who will benefit the most from this project. The course ran for a 2 month period with 5 classes a week of 2 hours each. There was a one month internship after the course.

Sustainability

On completion of the course, each lady was awarded a certificate that made them eligible to access various government schemes that helps them make a start on setting up their own business.

We would like to thank our sponsor Language is Everything for making this project a reality.
